A spec project done while at Postmedia Inc. The project was to come up with a logo, sample cover and sample page layout for a new inserted special section for the Winnipeg sun called Mix-ol-ogy. This new special section would highlight recipes for food and mixed drinks as well as ideas for entertaining. They wanted a design that would be simple, elegant and would showcase beautiful food imagery.
